Hi! I’m Jake. Yeah, Ryan is my big brother, but there is something to be said for the little guy, right? Good things come in small packages ya know. Actually I may be more “petite” then Jake but I certainly won’t be a small fry when I grow up. I am a fun pup who loves to play and tumble. When playtime is over there is nothing better than snuggling up next to a human or another furry friend.

Hi Everybody!! Phew, I stopped playing long enough to sit down with my foster momma and write a little something about myself to tell the world how wonderful I am. Wow, where do I start…. Well, how about we start with how sweet I am. I am one big snuggle bug. I do love to play, my foster brother and I run, and tumble, and roll until we drop.
The kids in the house think I am a hoot, they particularly love my soft fur and my one bright blue eye. Yep, I have one brown and one blue eye and boy do they twinkle.

I am approximately 22 lbs right now at 6 months old. How big I will get is still a mystery, but my bone structure is smaller than a lab for sure. Who cares anyway, I’m simply adorable.

“Darling puppy” says it all! Born in early Nov., she is quite playful, curious, and loves to snuggle. She really likes her foster brother and would play with him every waking moment is she could. She has not been exposed to cats however is great with kids. (Persons of any age that will snuggle or play are just fine by her!) She is a quick learner and really catching on to housebreaking though not completely there yet. She would prefer to be with others, but is getting used to the idea of her crate, especially at night. Bandit is about 6 months old maybe not even that. Really tiny paws so he wont be much bigger. He is about 10-12 lbs max. He is not housebroken but he is getting the hang of it. He is very cuddly and affectionate. He loves to chew and steal his foster brothers food. Stolen food is best food that is why he is the Bandit. He loves to play and can keep up with the big dogs. He gets cold easily so he is not out for long. He eats well and is a happy boy. He does get up on the furniture but he just wants to be close to his people.

Peyton is a very sweet and loving, young boxer. He is very well mannered in the house and listens quite well. He is house broken and is crate trained. He walks nicely on the leash and sits at all the curbs before crossing. Peyton is a pup that has lots of energy and enjoys his frequent time at the park. He is very playful with his foster sister, Zeagle, and gets along great with other dogs too. Consider giving Peyton a loving, forever home. Peyton now weighs 44lbs

Clyde is doing well. The vet guesses that he was born around the 17th of November. He is a very healthy puppy that is growing up fast. He loves to play with his toys, fetch, and chew bones. He is doing great with potty training and does well in the crate. He has also become quite the cuddlebug and loves to lay on a blanket and watch TV with you. He has only had exposure to older kids so far but is fine with new faces. He just loves to be with his people. No apartments please, I need a house!

Shelby

Shelby is a 6 month old dachshund/whippet mix (we think!). She currently weighs 13 pounds and probably won’t be more than 18-20 when full grown. She is new to our program, so we are getting to know her. She has been wonderful with kids, dogs and particularly loves humans! She is a wiggly love bug who gives lots of kisses and just wants to stay nearby. Shelby was found as a stray and turned in to a southern Ohio kill shelter. She is currently being fostered with another dog and doing great. We will update information about Shelby as we get to know her better. She will be available for her new forever home after being spayed on Dec. 2. Please apply online to meet this gorgeous girl.

Gideon is an adorable 10 week (born Sept 2010) old grey domestic medium-hair male. He is house trained and up-to-date with shots.He is a very sweet and playful cat who likes to climb up the sofa and play with anything he can find on the ground. He loves to play with our other cat and once he is exhausted he loves to cuddle and sleep on our shoulder.

* Sex: Male
* Age: 3 years

Ernie just turned 3 onNovember 4th. He is a 23 lb black miniature schnauzer with a white chest patch, neutered and current on all of his shots. Ernie is high energy and vocal, which are right in line with his breed. He is extremely bright and could catch on to any training that was needed for a new forever home very quickly.

He is not overweight for his size. The vet describes him as a “linebacker”- he’s just large for his breed. Ernie has no known health problems.

Ernie would do wonderful in a home with older kids (10+). He is great at the dog park- he’s not so much into playing with the other dogs there (too many!!! ) as he is into sniffing the perimeter, but he wears himself out! He is a bona fide cuddlebug. He would be a great little watch dog. He is extremely loyal. He would need a fenced in back yard, because he loves the outdoors, especially if you enjoy them with him! He is so sweet and a lot of fun.
