Hi, I’m Henry. I am a playful puppy who is full of energy. I love to play with my foster family and other dogs in the neighborhood. I’m a Jack Russell mix who has been vaccinated and neutered. I’m very smart as I have learned a few commands already and know that I am only allowed to chew toys or bones, not fingers or furniture. I’m very cozy in my crate at night and am learning to potty train. I weigh about 10 pounds and don’t know how big I will get but I will most likely be under 20 pounds full grown. I’m most happy playing but love to snuggle as well! I’m looking for a family who is willing to play and then play some more. If you are active and want someone to keep up with you, I’m your puppy!

Hi my name is Jack and I am a 2.5-year-old Border/Lab mix. I am extremely lovable and I listen very well. I am house & crate trained. My foster parents believe I was mistreated in the past… I guess that would explain my timidness around new people and the fact that if you yell or make any sudden movements, I tend to dribble a bit on the floor. However, my foster parents they said that I am already getting much better with that issue because they love me and treat me well, so I don’t feel so afraid. I like the extra hugs and treats that come along with a loving home :-). I play well with other dogs, I tolerate cats (smiling), and love children. Katie

Katie is an approximately 1.5-year-old Beagle that came to us from a kill shelter in southern Ohio. She is a very well behaved dog, is crate trained and housebroken! She has a very loving and easy going temperament. She is okay with other dogs and does not bother cats either. She is very quiet and can sleep the whole night in her crate without making much noise at all. She is a lover and is always looking for attention. Eddie

This is Eddie…quite possibly the cutest puppy on the planet.  We believe him to be a Shepherd mix born in 5/2011.  His full grown weight will probably be about 50 lbs.  He was pulled from a kill shelter but we do not know his background history.  He’s extremely intelligent and knows a few simple commands already!  He is doing well with housebreaking and crate training.  Eddie gets along well with his canine foster siblings and loves all sizes and ages of people!  He is very attentive and listens well…he chews his bones or toys and has left other items alone!  Eddie is affectionate and would do well in an active home with children or someone who is there to offer lots of love and guidance.  Eddie has been neutered and vaccinated.  If you would like to meet this special boy, please fill out our online application.

Polly

Waylon

Waylon is approximately a year old, weighs about 25 lbs and is an old fashioned Heinz 57 mix!!  We believe Basset, Beagle, Shepherd and Lab are all parts of his DNA! The picture doesn’t do him justice, he is a beautiful deep red color with unique markings.  Waylon is extremely loving and playful.  He is very affectionate, knows sit, is housebroken, and so far loves everyone that he meets.  We have not yet exposed him to cats.  Waylon would do wonderfully in a home with another dog because he loves to play.  He is the perfect size and a complete lovebug. Koda

Meet Koda!  He is a 3.5 year old Aussie mix with a lot to offer!  Koda is good with kids, good with other dogs, and is okay with cats but may chase them to try and play.  He is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and knows “sit, stay, down and come.”  Being an Aussie mix, Koda is an active boy who needs a family that will play with him and give him regular exercise.  He needs to be crated while home alone so that he doesn’t look for things to entertain himself with until his people get home!  He will require a fenced yard and supervision (as he is able to scale a fence if he sees something exciting to do!)  He is a sweet, lovely boy who will make the perfect pet for the right family.  If you would like to meet Koda, please fill out our online application.

Juno

This is Juno.  He is as sweet as he is gorgeous!  Juno is a 1.5-year-old Husky who was rescued from a kill shelter in Southern Ohio.  He weighs 60 pounds and needs to fill out a little bit…but is otherwise healthy and beautiful.  He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, children and people of all sizes.  He has not been tested with cats.  Juno has not been destructive in the house, has figured out the dog door, loves to chase a tennis ball but isn’t quite sure what to do when he gets it 🙂 and is now house-trained and doing great with it. Hope

Hope is a purebred black Labrador Retriever.  We guess her to be between 1-2 years old.  She is currently 83 lbs but should ideally be closer to 70-75.  Hope has had a rough start…she was dumped from a vehicle while pregnant and taken to a rural Ohio kill shelter.  She was rescued from being euthanized by a couple who gave her the chance to deliver and wean her pups (Luke and Bosco, also with ADOPT.)  Hope has the sweetest disposition…she is wonderful with kids, and good with other dogs and cats.  She is fearful of getting in the car (but is fine once inside) and doesn’t seem to know what to do with stairs.  She is housebroken and not destructive in the home.  Her sole purpose is to be by your side and get as much love as possible!  If you would like to give Hope the chance she deserves, please fill out an online application.

Bosco

Bosco was born 6/3/2011.   Bosco’s mother is a purebred black Labrador Retriever who was rescued after having been thrown out of a vehicle and taken in by a high kill shelter in rural Ohio.  She was saved from being euthanized by a lovely couple who kept her until she delivered her pups and was able to wean them.  Bosco and his brother Luke are settling in to their foster homes and learning the ropes of being well mannered little boys!  Bosco’s foster mom says that he is doing very well with his crate training is quite a lover boy!  If you would like to meet Bosco, please fill out an online application.
