We’re doing it again – time for even more Pet Pictures with Santa!! Join ADOPT at Pet Supplies Plus in Powell with your pet to get their picture taken with Santa. In addition to getting pictures taken, there will be handmade jewelry and baked goods for sale, as well as the opportunity to sponsor to a dog in need.

Lily is a striking Greyhound/Shepherd mix with beautiful brindle markings. She was adopted from us about a year and a half ago and her owner must surrender due to her increased work schedule. Lily is great with kids, cats, and dogs. She is housebroken and will let you know when she needs to go out, she loves to hang out in her crate, and has never shown any type of aggressive behavior. She also rides nicely in the car and loves to go places to socialize! She is young, smart and energetic and would do best in a home with a yard to play in and a family to love. Max is a beautiful Boxer, possibly mixed but we’re not sure. He’s very friendly, good with other dogs and is an all around happy boy. He loves toys and chasing after whatever you throw! Max is new to the canine/inmate program and will be learning his basic obedience. He has the typical Boxer personality and will make a great companion. Kora is an Australian Cattle Dog who will be a year old. She has a beautiful coat, is wicked smart, and has an affectionate and submissive personality. She is somewhat shy at first but that wears off quickly and she becomes your best friend! ACD’s are known for their keen intelligence and desire to please. These dogs do not do well confined for long periods of time. They need regular exercise and social interaction. Kora is a perfect size, 40 lbs, and may gain a few more before she is full grown. She is learning her commands quickly and just loves everyone that she encounters. She will make a wonderful companion for an active individual or family. Chip is a young flat coated Retriever mix. He is a great size, about 40 lbs, and is a “fluffball of love.” He’s goofy, outgoing, friendly, smart and an all around fun pup. He’s also intelligent and since entering the prison program has been picking up on his commands. He came from a rural kill shelter that was beyond capacity so we are happy to have him in our rescue. He has a gorgeous soft coat, fuzzy crimped ear fur, and a tail that’s always wagging. Chip will be a great family dog. If you are interested in this great boy, please fill out an online application.

Mia is a friendly and sweet Shepherd/Hound mix that loves to follow her nose! She enjoys being outdoors soaking up all the scents that she can! ADOPT recently received another wonderful update on Hank from his forever family! We hope you enjoy it!! 🙂
We wanted you to know how thankful we are that you rescued Hank for us. He is a wonderful addition to the family and makes us happy every day. And I happy to report, has mastered the dog door and spends a great deal of time outside. He loved the snow last week!
Murphy loves him so much that he even “lets” Hank have the upper hand.
