Joe

Joe

Joe is a gorgeous Black Lab/Border Collie mix. He was originally found as a stray, ended up in a kill shelter, and then joined our rescue. Joe is timid (no aggression whatsoever) and needs to build his confidence and learn that the world isn’t such a scary place. He is very gentle, just afraid. Joe would do best in a non-chaotic household where he can spend time with his humans. He loves to be with other dogs and will bond closely with the people he comes to trust. He needs time, patience, and consistency in order to overcome the things that have made him so scared. If you’d like to meet Joe and give him the chance he deserves, please fill out an online application!

Oakley

Oakley

Oakley is from a litter of 8 believed to be born the first week of November 2014. Mom was a bird dog/Spaniel mix and dad is unknown. Oakley is the shy one of the bunch and is more reserved. She would do well in a home that can build up her confidence! We are seeking homes that understand that puppies are puppies! They bite, chew, cry and are not completely housebroken. They need to be trained with kindness, patience and repetition to be the best pets that they can be. Socialization is key in the first year and learning to be around animals and people is necessary for all the young pups. Because these little ones still need their boosters and spay surgeries, we will only be able to consider Columbus vicinity applicants. Please fill out an online application if you would like to be Oalkley’s forever home.

Noel

Noel

Noel got a special gift this season…she was saved hours before euthanasia due to overcrowding in the shelter. Noel isn’t fancy looking…she’s “just a brown dog.” But she has a sparkle about her and has the nicest disposition. She’s playful, affectionate and smart. She arrived skinny and in poor shape but she will gain the needed weight now that she has proper nutrition and a warm place to sleep. Noel has entered into our canine/inmate program and has quickly become a favorite there. If you would like to meet this sweet girl, please fill out an online application.

Weimin

Weimin

Weimin needs some TLC on the outside but his inside is pure gold. He is a gentle, kind, affectionate Mastiff mix who came to us in bad shape. Weimin has Demodex mange with secondary skin infections. We are treating him aggressively and he is already beginning to heal. He will need to continue his oral medication for a few months as he heals and regrows his hair. Weimin is truly one of a kind…he has had a rough start yet he loves everyone he meets, is good with other dogs, and loves to hang out with his human. He’s eating well, resting a lot, and enjoying the comforts of his loving foster home. He is a very special boy and deserves a home that will be commited to his ongoing treatment and show him that he really is quite beautiful, inside and out.
