Gronk (formerly Otis)

ADOPT received a holiday update on Gronk (formerly Otis) from his forever family! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!! 🙂

Just want to send you a couple recent pics of Gronk. He’s growing so fast and has outgrown his first crate pad already! We bought him a new one yesterday and this was taken in the car on the way home. The second pic was taken today. Can you tell he loves it already?

Louise

Louise

Louise is a Chihuahua puppy (not mixed) that came to us with her 2 sisters and brother. These cuties were part of an unplanned litter and are now looking for their forever homes. They are typical puppies with emerging personalities. Louise is the more subdued pup of the bunch and is very sweet. Like all puppies, she will need time and commitment to help her stay a happy and healthy girl. She will need to be adopted within the Columbus or immediate vicinity. Our puppies go to one of our certified veterinarians for their puppy vaccines and spay/neuter when old enough. If you would like to meet lovely Louise, please fill out an online application.

Tyson

Tyson

Tyson is a big, goofy, friendly Yellow Lab mix. He is young and approaches everything and everyone with enthusiasm! While he is fine around kids, we would prefer a household with kids 6+ simply because Tyson is strong and can knock small people over with his excitedness. He is currently enrolled in the prison program where he is learning his basic commands and manners. Tyson is dog friendly but has not been exposed to cats. He would do well in a household that provides physical exercise, either daily walks or ball playing (which he LOVES!) If you would like to meet this big goofball, please fill out an online application.

June

June

June is a Black Lab mix puppy that arrived from a high kill shelter in W. Va. along with her brother Johnny Cash and her sister Rosie. All three puppies are very sweet and are looking for forever homes. They are typical puppies, with June being more adventurous and inquisitive than her brother and sister. She has a beautiful short to medium length coat that has a little bit of wave to it and some brown mixed in, pictures don’t do her justice! June will need to be adopted within the Columbus area due to still needing boosters and her spay surgery once old enough (done by one of our local veterinarians.) If you would like to meet this beautiful girl, please fill out an online application.

Rosie

Rosie

Rosie is a beautiful Lab mix puppy (possibly with terrier?) She arrived with her brother Johnny Cash and her sister Rosie from a high kill shelter in W. Va. Rosie is very sweet and is a typical puppy. Her fur looks as though it would be wiry but it is actually very soft. She and Johnny are the more subdued of the bunch, inquisitive and affectionate. We don’t have a history on them so their background is unknown. They will need to be adopted in the Columbus vicinity due to needing booster vaccines and their spay/neuter done by our veterinarians locally. As with any young puppy, they need time, training, and patience from their forever families. Puppies are wonderful companions that grow into loyal family members…but they are still puppies!!! If you are ready for a new family member, please fill out an online application.

Johnny Cash

Johnny Cash

Johnny Cash arrived with plenty of swag, along with his sisters June and Rosie. They are Lab mix puppies that came from a high kill shelter in W. Va. We don’t know their backgrounds but we do know that they are happy, affectionate, typical playful pups. Johnny has a beautiful, long coat and large paws…so he will most likely be a big boy. He is being fostered with other dogs and children, ages 2 & 4. He is wonderful with them! Johnny will need to be adopted in the Columbus vicinity due to still needing his boosters and neuter to be done by our local veterinarian. Puppies are wonderful family members, but they do require time, energy, and a “forever” commitment. If you are ready to add a new companion to your home, please fill out an online application.

Joey

Joey

This handsome boy is Joey (because he bounces around like a baby Kangaroo!) Joey is a Vizsla mix that came from a kill shelter in Kentucky and has joined our prison program. He is young, friendly, and energetic. Joey has striking eyes and a big personality. He will do well in an active household where he gets regular exercise (a fenced yard would be ideal.) He is in the process of learning basic commands and how to walk on a leash (he has running on a leash down-pat!) Joey is a great size and will fill out but not get much bigger. If you would like to meet this cutie, please fill out an online application.

Jaxon

Jaxon

Jaxon is an adorable Beagle/Corgi/Spitz mix who was surrendered along with 8 other dogs after the owner was unable to care for them. He is goofy, affectionate, and a real charmer. Jaxon likes to give “hugs” with his paws and knows several commands. He does fine on a leash and gets along with other dogs and cats as well. He’s a great size and will make a wonderful companion. Because of his breed mix, he will need regular exercise to stay mentally and physically stimulated. If you would like to meet Jaxon, please fill out an online application.

Maggie Moo

Maggie Moo

Maggie Moo is a sweet Border Collie mix who was very timid when she first arrived in our rescue. She was adopted in Oct 2015 but was recently returned due to her owners both having to take second jobs. She is very sweet but is still occasionally reserved when meeting new people. She warms up quickly and is quite affectionate once she gets to know you! Maggie spent a brief period in our prison program but the environment there was too chaotic for her. She is now thriving in her foster home with her 3 canine “brothers.” She is socialized daily and loving all the new things that she is getting to experience; like trail runs, swimming, running along side a bicycle, and playing with toys! If you would like to meet beautiful Maggie Moo, please fill out an online application.
