Stuart Little is (our best guess!) a Corgi mix. He’s an adorable little lowrider! Stuart is very sweet…he’s been good with other dogs, great around kids, and appears to be ok with cats (he’s been exposed to them and was not reactive.) He will be a wonderful companion for an active individual or family. He is still young and will need continued exercise, training and socialization to remain a happy and well balanced pup! Tango
Tango is a little cutie that was given up much to soon. He was removed from his mom and given away, bottle fed for several weeks by good samaritans, and then came to us. We believe that he is a terrier mix and will not get very large. He is a typical tiny pup…sleepy, playful, sleepy, and hungry! He’s being socialized in a home with children and other dogs, getting lots of love and attention. Now all he needs is a forever family of his own! Ginny
Ginny is a beautiful Yellow Lab mix that is a perfect size! She’s 40 lbs of sweetness and bounce! Ginny came to us from a kill shelter in rural Ohio. We learned once she arrived that she was heartworm positive. The good news is that we caught it early and she is successfully going through treatment. This just means that until she’s completed the medication, she simply has to remain relatively calm. She can go for leash walks and do the things dogs love to do, she just can’t go full speed…yet! She is young, otherwise healthy, and no lasting effects are expected. Ginny is a very affectionate and good natured dog, she will be a wonderful companion! Tony came to us from a rural Kentucky shelter. We decided since he’s originally a Wildcat and has a single brindle tiger stripe on his front leg, “Tony” would be a greeeaaat name! He’s a typical energetic young Black Lab mix. He is enthusiastic about everything that he does. He loves to snuggle, aka sit on you while you try to relax, and loves to be outside to play. Ellie Merigold
ADOPT received more pictures our Mastiff pup Ellie from her forever family! We hope you enjoy them as much as we did!! 🙂
Peek
Meet Peek! This beautiful three year old Weimaraner is as sweet as they come and loves to cuddle. She was rescued from living in a kennel most of the time so she really values time with her people. Peek was terribly underweight when she first arrived and we are helping her build muscle and fattening her up a bit! She is working on housetraining and not pottying in her crate when left alone, since that’s where she’s used to spending all of her time. She is fine with other dogs, but because she mostly wants to be with people, would probably be happiest in a home where she has all the attention to herself! Peek is also fine with kids but she does like to jump up and give hugs, so small children might not appreciate that! She is very smart and learning obedience quickly and will truly be a loving companion.If you would like to meet Peek, please fill out an online application. She is not yet spayed (due to her low weight) and must be adopted within the greater Columbus area in order to have veterinary care done by our local veterinarians.
