Khloe

Khloe

Sweet Khloe came to us in the nick of time. She was slated for euthanasia (due to space) but had the best personality assessment. We couldn’t let it happen knowing what a nice girl she is and what a wonderful companion she will be. She has been through a lot in her 4 short years and we’ve promised her that there will be no more bad days. Khloe was in poor shape when she arrived, she’d recently had a litter of pups, her skin was in bad condition, and she had multiple dog bite marks on her body. She is now being cared for in a loving foster home while waiting for her forever family to find her. Khloe is very affectionate and would do well in a home that gave her consistency and security. Please fill out an online application if you would like to meet this special dog.

Mikey

Mikey

Hey Mikey, he likes it!! Yes, little Mikey gets pretty excited about everything. Everything except being by himself. He’s great with other dogs, great with cats and kids…he just gets a little upset when he’s crated by himself. Friendly, funny and very outgoing…he’s happy to see everyone! He really likes to be close to people and snuggle up right on top of them. He’s learning the ropes on how to be a well mannered boy during his stay in the canine/inmate program. He most likely spent most of his life outdoors so he’s really enjoying the comfort of blankets to lie on and people to visit with. Mikey is lots of fun, will be a great little companion and cheer you up on a bad day! If you’d like to meet him, please fill out an online application.

Bella

Bella

Some rescue stories break our hearts a little bit extra…Bella’s is one of them. She was surrendered when she was 10 months old to a shelter. She was adopted and spent the next 3 years with the people that saved her. Now, due to circumstances that have nothing to do with Bella, she had to be surrendered again. Our hope is to find her a loving and stable home where Bella can love and be loved. She is very affectionate and wants to be with people, sometimes right on top of them! She is good with kids, other dogs, and has lived with cats. Bella is housebroken, crate trained, loves the outdoors and playing fetch. Oh, and she looovves going for car rides. She would do best in a home that gives her the time and attention she deserves, preferably a fenced yard but this is not mandatory. An apartment setting would not be suitable for Bella as she is used to long walks and plenty of outdoor time. She has a history of occasional allergies (hotspot on her leg) and itching. This appears to be very minor. If you would like to meet this beautiful girl, please fill out an online application.

Irwin

Irwin

This handsome Aussie mix was named after another beloved Aussie, Steve Irwin. Just like his namesake, he is outgoing, friendly, energetic and enthusiastic about the outdoors. Irwin has really pretty markings, the pictures don’t do his coloring justice! He is a great medium size (needs to gain a little bit of weight) and is truly a lovebug. Irwin is learning basic commands in the canine/inmate program and getting much deserved attention. He will be a great companion in just about any environment where he will get regular exercise (mental and physical) due to the intelligence of his breed mix. This is a genuinely wonderful dog…if you would like to meet Irwin, please fill out an online application.

Bailey

Bailey

Bailey is a beautiful Pointer mix! She looks like someone threw pumpkin confetti into the air and it all landed on her! She’s very affectionate, energetic, friendly and smart. She’s wonderful with other dogs, people of all ages, is housebroken and crate trained. Her previous owners were unable to spend enough time with her and give her the exercise that she needs to stay healthy and happy. Bailey will do wonderfully in an active home or with someone looking for a walking/jogging companion. She is truly such a sweet girl…if you would like to meet Bailey, please fill out an online application.

Norman

Norman

Norman would like you to know that hounds often get overlooked. People assume that they are noisy, aloof, and not interested in anything other than sniffing. Well…that is simply not the case! Especially with the American English (Redtick) Coonhound. Go ahead, Google it! They’re loyal, affectionate, great with kids and love human attention. Norman is all of these things. He’s a wonderful boy and is a nice size as well, about 45 lbs. He loves to snuggle in blankets or a comfy bed and loves to go for walks (ok…here’s the time that he does love to follow his nose!) He is an all around great companion. We encourage you to fill out an online application if you are interested in meeting Norman!

Abby

Abby

Abby is an absolute joy. She’s a beautiful Border Collie mix with soulful eyes and a matching personality. If you stand and pet her she literally melts onto the floor to soak up all the love she can get. She’s a perfect age, about 3, and is past all the puppy crazies! Being a Border Collie, Abby is smart and very in tune with her person. She is a pleaser and a lover. The scrape on her nose is assumed to be from being crated or confined for longer periods of time where she rubbed against the walls. Abby is now part of the canine/inmate program where she is being worked with on basic obedience and enjoying the freedom to play. She is a true gem and will be an awesome companion for just about any household. If you’d like to meet Abby, please fill out an online application.

We will be getting new pictures of this cutie to show off how gorgeous she really is. If you’d like to meet her in person, please fill out an online application!

Sonny

Sonny

Sonny is a energetic, upbeat Lab/Boxer mix. He has a beautiful coat with a unique brindle marking on his hind leg. Sonny is part of the canine/inmate program where he is learning basic commands and working on his leash manners. He is very friendly and gets along well with the other dogs in the program. He would do best in an active environment where he has regular exercise. He flops down and does the “frog” pose when he’s worn out! You will never feel overlooked or forgotten around this boy…he will show you with enthusiasm how happy he is to see you each time you come home! If you would like to meet Sonny, please fill out an online application.
