Reba

This country girl is smart, outgoing, and bold. She has tons of personality and learns very quickly. Reba is still just a puppy and will be most likely be a large dog full grown (60+ pounds). We don’t know her breed heritage but she appears to be a Lab/Hound mix and is already a good size. Smart dogs don’t do well being left alone for long periods of time and can develop behavioral issues, therefore, Reba would do well with a canine companion or with someone who is able to spend time with her. She will need continued physical and mental stimulation as well as ongoing socialization. Her photos don’t do her justice, she is beautiful in person. Rainey

Rainey is a beautiful, unique, and funny girl who is a genuine “mixed breed.” And those ears!!! She has the traits and qualities of several different breeds which makes her a true individual. She loves to play, is affectionate and goofy, and has been thrilled to meet everyone. She is unsure of new surroundings and has possibly never lived indoors before coming to our rescue. Rainey will do well in an active household where she has exercise, play time, and someone who will continue to nurture her genuine love of life. Flynn

Meet Flynn who is an adorable mixed breed puppy. Mom is a gorgeous beagle mix and we think dad may have been quite handsome as well maybe Lab/Great Pyrenees. We guess his full grown size will be around 50 plus lbs. Flynn is all a puppy should be full of fun and energy but loves to cuddle and be with his people. He is very adventurous and has NO fear! We expect him to be high energy so an active home with a fenced yard and a canine buddy would be best for his smart goofy youngster.
Flynn is working on his crate training and house training and as with any young puppy will need ongoing training, socialization and supervision. Eddie

Eddie is the sweetest little guy. We aren’t sure of his breed mix so we truly don’t know how big he will be when full grown. We think he will be a medium to large size but this is truly just a guess. He is a typical puppy, loves everyone, loves to play, and loves to eat! He is being fostered with other dogs and does fine with everyone in the household. As with any puppy, he will need ongoing training, guidance, patience, exercise and supervision! Eddie still needs his booster vaccines and his neuter surgery (done by our local veterinarians) and therefore is only available for adoption in the Columbus, OH vicinity. Vinny

Vinny is as awesome as he is adorable! We don’t have any information about his background so aren’t sure of his breed mix (possibly a Lab/Shepherd mix.) He is spunky, smart, and loves to play. He is being fostered with 2 other dogs and genuinely loves to be with them. We would love to find a forever home for Vinny that has another canine companion. His foster home has worked diligently on crate training and housetraining, but as with any young puppy you must be willing to spend time on continuing his education. Piper

Piper is a fantastic little dog. We believe that she is a smooth Fox Terrier/Rat Terrier mix. She is extremely loving, relatively quiet, and loves to explore the outdoors. She is also very content to be with her person while inside. Piper had been a stray and on her own for what appears to have been awhile. She seems to like everyone she meets, including older children. She is ok with other dogs but doesn’t like it if they are too energetic or in her face, so at this time we would like for Piper to be the only dog in the household. She’s a great size, small to medium, and would do well in almost any size home as long as she gets proper exercise. Bolt

Bolt came to us through no fault of his own. His previous people were not able to give him the time he needed and felt that rehoming him would be in his best interest. He has joined the canine-inmate program to work on basic obedience and leash manners. Bolt is intelligent and curious, as are most JRT’s! May is as sweet as she is cute! This Boxer mix girl came to us from a rural Kentucky kill shelter and has joined the canine-inmate program to learn her basic commands. May is bright, friendly, good with other dogs and is an all around great dog. She’s the perfect size and will be a wonderful companion.

Mazie

Mazie was given her name for one simple reason…she’s amazing. We are not sure of her breed mix, possibly American Bulldog and hound, but we ARE sure of her temperament. She is extremely sweet, affectionate, good natured and funny. She has been great with people of all ages and sizes as well as other dogs. We were told she did well with cats but have not cat tested her within the rescue. She will melt in your lap, loves to go on walks, and will genuinely bring a smile to your face. Mazie is a special girl and will bring much joy to anyone lucky enough to love her.

Ozzie

This little boy with the king-sized appetite was part of a litter dumped at a shelter. We think there’s some Lab, Beagle, and who knows what else in his ancestry. He loves to play, chew on sticks, and snuggle. He is a typical puppy that will require time, energy, proper socialization, training, and regular exercise. Puppies are a big commitment and not for the feint of heart!

Because of his young age and the need for booster shots plus his neuter surgery by our local veterinarian, we will only accept applications from Columbus and surrounding suburbs.
