Jessie

The eyes have it! Beautiful Jessie is a Samoyed mix with the most unique gold colored eyes, one has a spot of blue. We don’t know her story, but at some point she was loved. Jessie is currently about 8-10 lbs overweight, but we will begin slimming her down to a healthy weight. She has hip dysplasia and experiences some lameness in her back end when it is bothering her. Our vet has said that she can have a full and happy life, but will need “low impact” exercise and Rimadyl (like Ibuprofin for humans) to make sure that she stays comfortable. Despite her hips, Jessie has a very sweet disposition and happy personality. She is good on a leash, housebroken, and easily motivated to learn new things (ok, she likes to work for treats!)
