Baron

Meet Baron! He’d love to say hello, and run, and say hello, and sniff, and run, and come back to say hello again! He’s a stunning Black Lab/Great Dane mix and will be a large boy, most likely 75+ lbs. Baron joined our rescue due to a change in his owner’s living situation and it is obvious that he was loved. He is full of typical puppy energy and, as with many large breeds, will mature more slowly. We would prefer but do not require large breed puppy experience. While he is beautiful and fun loving, he is also very young. He eats a lot, and will eat a lot more as he grows. He is playful, but that also means he’s capable of taking down a toddler with a swoop of is tail! When adopting a L/XL breed, it is also important to understand that they require regular exercise, but not rigorous due to their rapidly growing bones. Baron has entered into our canine/inmate program and will be exposed to basic commands. He will need continued training and socialization once he is adopted.
