Archie

Archie is just a sweetheart. He’s well behaved and generally calm for such a young dog. We believe that he is a Boxer mix with a beautiful brindle coat. He came from a rural shelter in Kentucky and probably didn’t have much interaction with a lot of people, so he can be a bit shy around groups of people or when meeting someone new. He’s very friendly and loves attention once he knows that you want to be his friend. He loves other dogs and would do best with a canine companion in his new house. He’s become a fan of toys, balls and chew toys…so he’s hoping his new people wouldn’t mind setting up a little basket of things for him to play with! Archie is being exposed to basic commands, social interactions, and house training while he’s in the program. He will need to continue all of these things once he finds his new family.
