CJ

Captain Jack (CJ) is a playful Australian Shepherd/Hound mix. He is currently in our canine/inmate program learning his basic commands and leash manners. He is very smart and picks up new concepts quickly. CJ displayed food guarding when he arrived but his handler has corrected that. CJ is still working through different behavioral issues (unsure of new people/places and gets fearful) but has made progress with this as well. The ideal person for CJ is someone who is confident and has dog experience. He would not be a good fit for a novice or first time owner.
