Hank

Hank is an adorable Retriever/Aussie mix that is still just a puppy. He is very affectionate, melts into your lap, and displays many herding breed characteristics. He is alert, will circle around you and stay close by, and is extremely bright. He is somewhat unsure at first, but we believe that he will gain confidence as he spends time in the canine/inmate program. His former human parents lost their home and surrendered him because they were having to move around to stay with friends and family. Hank is quiet in his crate, housebroken, and loves people. Because of his breed mix, he would do well in a home where he has a “job.” That can be anything from fetching, going on regular walks or runs, to agility and therapy. Aussies and Aussie mixes are highly intelligent and don’t do well with boredom. If you are looking for a devoted companion, Hank just might be your guy!
